Posting Guidelines

I fully believe that while I have started the conversation with my blog posts, I feel that you should continue the conversation, although I do reserve the right to a few guidelines;

1) Stay on topic – I totally get that sometimes conversations tend to wander away from the original point, but please do your best to stay on or close to the topic. Also, please don’t ask me about random things in the comments section. I would prefer not to see questions about the newest movie that has just come out in the comments section about a posting about Metadata for example. If you have a question that is off topic of the post then you can send me an e-mail at jason@jasonlovefiles.com and I will do my best to respond.

2) This is My Blog – I realize that people have the right to say what they want and I’m completely fine with that. This blog, however, is mine, and I reserve the right to remove comments that are impolite, off-topic, demeaning, snarky, or outright rude.

3) Be Positive – Some of the things I talk about in my blog can be a bit dry, but I do my best to put a positive spin on it, and I would request that of your comments as well. Please refrain from complaining about how things don’t work, instead mention your confusion or lack of understanding on an issue and I will do my best to help.

4) Your comments are your own – I reserve no right to them nor am I to be held responsible for the outcomes of any libellous statements made.

5) If you post a website that I do not approve of in the comments section or try to advertise your own products on my site through the comments section your comment will be removed.

6) I reserve the right to add to this list of guidelines and disclaimers should the need arise.
